BE READY FOR THE FUN... Listed below are details regarding your upcoming trip. If you have any

Gear: Come dressed assuming you will get
wet. Although the kayaks have solid hulls, entering/exiting kayaks and paddle spray may get you wet. Wear synthetic
weather-appropriate clothing. Cotton or down not recommended. Wear or bring layers since weather conditions and
wind can change at any time and the spring weather can range from warm and summerlike to chilly and damp. Wear closed toe water shoes with traction. Crocs or booties
work well. You may have to step in the water while entering or exiting the kayak. Bring plenty of water while on the water and a snack. Other suggested items: sunscreen, wide-brim hat, sunglasses with retainers, gloves,
front access pack, change of clothes left in car. If you bring your cell phone, electronic key or camera, do so at your own risk. Dry bags
are not provided. Place electronics in a "zip-locking" bag and keep in a front pack for easy access.
We do not take responsibility to damage or loss of your personal property. Do not leave any valuables in your car. Make sure you have a secure pocket for your
car keys. Details: Plan to arrive at the launch site about 15 minutes prior to scheduled excursion.
You will be asked to read and sign a liability release form prior to the excursion. We will assign boats, go over basic
safety rules and provide short instruction on paddling techniques. We will all put the boats in the water and start
our trip. One staff member will be in the water with you in a separate kayak. Staff will determine which direction
